Youth Ministry

With a wide range of opportunities and experiences we help today's young church become the disciples of tomorrow.  Come join us on the journey that leads you to Christ.

A place to grow, a place to ask, a place to call home

our 4 pillars

Guided by our 4 pillars we journey together building up the Body of Christ and lead youth back home to the church.

Learning and Growing in Faith

Our Core Ministries

Through our CORE ministries youth are given a foundation of faith they can build upon.  The friendships and communities built here are carried through major milestones in life and lead to a more vibrant and active church.

  • Explorers - Jr. High Youth Ministry

We all have questions.  That's what growing up is all about.  Sometimes we just need a place where we can play games, laugh, and have fun all while tying to figure out who Jesus wants us to be.

Explorers is that place.  Join us and discover purpose, meaning, and the answers you're looking for smiling and laughing the entire time.

Explorers... Not all who wander are lost.

  • Confirmation

Baptism, the Eucharist, and the sacrament of Confirmation together constitute the "sacraments of Christian initiation," whose unity must be safeguarded. It must be explained to the faithful that the reception of the sacrament of Confirmation is necessary for the completion of baptismal grace.  For "by the sacrament of Confirmation, the baptized are more perfectly bound to the Church and are enriched with a special strength of the Holy Spirit. Hence they are, as true witnesses of Christ, more strictly obliged to spread and defend the faith by word and deed." - CCC 1285

Summer Service Trip

When you're a teen summers are for vacations, amusement parks, or hanging with family.  For a small group of teens from Christ the King - St. Stephen, we add one more thing...service.  One week a year they give their time to serve the poor, homeless, elderly, and underprivileged in a place they've never been.

It's more than a summer trip.  It's true ministry and an opportunity to discover how you can make a direct impact on someone's life.

If you'd like to learn more about where we're going, what we'll do, or if you just want to do some good come join us!

Meetings:  1st Wednesday of the month at 6:00 - 7:30 PM in the Parish Hall.

Community Great and Small

Our Bigger Community

Faith extends beyond Christ the King - St. Stephen.  We encourage you to deepen your relationship with God through interaction with your peers from all over.  Join us for one or both of our pilgrimages where you can meet others that wish to do the same.
