(Remember that this baptismal preparation can begin even before the birth of your baby).

Practice the Faith

Parents are to be practicing their faith through attendance at Mass and celebrating the sacraments. Or, if they are not practicing, they must be willing to begin doing so.

Scheduling of the Baptism

The sacrament of Baptism is celebrated on Sunday mornings. During the 10:30am Mass we celebrate the Introductory Rite of the Baptism ceremony and the parents/infant are introduced. Following the Mass we continue with the Baptism and the rest of the ceremony.

Preparing for your child's baptism

Baptism is the hopeful beginning of a lifetime of faith. In bringing your child for Baptism you are accepting the responsibility of providing for your child's spiritual needs as they grow and develop.

Parents are the primary teachers in providing a foundation of faith for their children. Our community is here to help and support you in this undertaking.
